MARDAN:A special ceremony and awareness walk was organized at Pakhtunkhwa House Mardan on the occasion of Youm-i-istehsal Kashmir (Exploitation Day) organized by District Administration Mardan, in which full solidarity was expressed with Kashmiri people.Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mardan Wasif Rehman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning) Jawad Ali, (AC) Mardan Dr. Ahmed Sher Zaman Dogar, (AAC) Maryam Barki, (AAC) Shagufta Sarwar and officers and representatives of all relevant line departments participated in the ceremony.During the ceremony, a minute’s silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of Kashmir, while Naat-e Rasool-e-Maqbool,(PBUH) and Kashmiri Song and speeches were presented by the students.
Later, an awareness walk was organized from Pakhtunkhwa House to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people, in which district administration officers, representatives of various government departments and other participants participated.The participants also raised slogans in favor of the freedom of Kashmir while expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people.Similarly, a function was organized on the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day in the district office of Rescue 1122 Mardan.Regional Director Operations Center (RDOC) Imran Khan Yousafzai, District Emergency Officer (DEO) Rafiullah Marwat, Emergency Officers and Rescue 1122 personnel participated on this occasion.
And in Tehsil Katlang a large rally was organized under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Qaiser Hussain Mughal on the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day on August 5, in which Rescue 1122, police, lawyers’ community, TMA, businessmen’s organization and a large number of citizens participated.The participants of the rally showed solidarity with the Kashmiri people by raising the flags of Pakistan and Kashmir. On this occasion, slogans were raised against Indian atrocities while banners were also raised in favor of the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
