MARDAN: The elections of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mardan Division were successfully completed in the presence of a representative of the Director General Trade Organization (DGTO), with a new leadership elected through the electoral process.According to the election results, Ayesha Durrani was elected President, Manahil Shah Senior Vice President, and Rizahat Vice President. The election of the new leadership was welcomed by the local business community, particularly women entrepreneurs.On the occasion, Ambreen Khan Hoti, Founder of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mardan, congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and expressed her best wishes for their tenure.
She expressed hope that the new leadership would play an effective role in representing the businesswomen of Mardan, addressing their concerns, creating greater business opportunities for women, and promoting commercial activities in the region.She said that the active participation of women in the business sector not only contributes to their economic empowerment but also plays an important role in strengthening the local economy and creating employment opportunities.
The newly elected office-bearers also emphasized the need for effective measures to highlight and resolve the issues faced by businesswomen and to further promote women-led businesses in the region.
