Gujranwala (IN) President of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Hamyoon Butt has stated that accelerating the implementation of government initiatives aimed at industrial development and the promotion of business activities in Gujranwala has become a pressing need of the time. He expressed these views while participating in a high-level consultative meeting held at the Lahore Regional Office of the FPCCI. The meeting was attended by Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurrangzaib, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Secretary Industries Umar and other senior officials, along with prominent industrialists including Zaki Ejaz , Dr. Gohar Ejaz and S. M. Tanveer.On the occasion Ali Hamyoon Butt appreciated the Punjab Government’s vision of facilitating ease of doing business and its business friendly policies.
He also provided a detailed briefing on the challenges and requirements faced by Gujranwala manufacturing industry. He thanked the Chief Minister of Punjab for directing the successful completion of the survey conducted by the Urban Unit team regarding three important industrial projects in Gujranwala. He further urged Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurrangzaib, the Chief Secretary Punjab and the Secretary Industries to ensure the early completion of the remaining phases of these projects so that the difficulties faced by industries could be reduced and the pace of industrial development could be accelerated.
At the conclusion of the meeting Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurrangzaib assured that these projects would be completed as soon as possible, as they are among the government’s top priorities. She added that, in accordance with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab every possible cooperation would continue to be extended to resolve the issues faced by the business community. Meanwhile the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry reaffirmed its commitment to fully cooperate with the provincial government in order to promote a sustainable and strong industrial environment in Punjab.
