ISLAMABAD, Oct 5 (IN): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Poland relations and reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to transform the longstanding friendship into a robust, long-term and multi-faceted partnership.The prime minister made these remarks during a meeting with Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister and Member of the Council of Ministers and Coordinator of Special Services of the Republic of Poland, who is visiting Pakistan.PM Shehbaz highlighted the importance of leadership-level exchanges in further expanding bilateral relations and stressed the need to promote greater interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
He appreciated Poland’s support for Pakistan under the European Union’s GSP Plus scheme, expressing confidence that bilateral ties would continue to grow across diverse sectors.The two sides also discussed major regional and international developments, including the situation in the Middle East.The prime minister underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving regional tensions and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.
