ISLAMABAD: President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Sardar Tahir Mehmood, has lauded the country’s civil and military leadership for their proactive and visionary diplomacy in facilitating a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, terming it a historic achievement that helped avert a potentially devastating regional conflict.He particularly commended Shehbaz Sharif, Syed Asim Munir, and Ishaq Dar for their tireless diplomatic engagement and coordinated efforts, which played a pivotal role in de-escalating tensions and bringing both sides to the negotiating table.Sardar Tahir Mehmood stated that Pakistan’s timely and balanced intervention reflects its growing stature as a responsible global player and a credible mediator in international conflicts.
