Peshawar: President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Junaid Altaf, along with Vice President Sabir Ahmed Bangash, participated in a high-level joint seminar on climate change and inclusion held at the Governor House Peshawar.
The seminar was organized by the Dais Forum and brought together policymakers, business leaders, experts, and individuals from various segments of society, with a large number of participants in attendance.Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, addressing the event as chief guest, stated that climate change has become a serious and real threat, with its impacts clearly being felt across the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He emphasized the need for coordinated and collective efforts to effectively tackle the issue.During the seminar, experts shared their views and recommendations in panel discussions on mitigating the effects of climate change. Special emphasis was also placed on the importance of tree plantation and environmental protection.
