NEW YORK, September 23, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov have reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening the multifaceted bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
The two foreign ministers held a meeting on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, where they exchanged views on ways to further advance the close and brotherly ties between the two countries.According to a press release issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two sides discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest and expressed support for enhancing cooperation across various areas.
Both foreign ministers also agreed to maintain close contact and continue working together to further deepen Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations.
