Andrei Metelitsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, participated in commemorative events marking Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The ceremony was held at the invitation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Pakistan.The event brought together ambassadors from CIS member states, representatives of Pakistani government institutions, business leaders, media professionals, academics, and members of the Russian and Belarusian communities residing in Pakistan.Participants also took part in the symbolic “Immortal Regiment” march, carrying portraits of family members who fought during the war.
The commemorative program featured a special concert and a themed photo exhibition honoring the sacrifices and heroism of World War II veterans.
