Arafat Sermon Calls for Unity of Muslim Ummah Through Taqwa and Truth

ARAFAT, MAKKAH, May 26 (APP):From the sacred plains of Arafat, Imam and Khateeb of Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Huthaify delivered a powerful and emotional message urging the Muslim Ummah to remain united through Taqwa, truth, and devotion to Allah Almighty.Addressing millions of pilgrims gathered for Hajj from every race, nationality, and background, the Imam described the historic gathering at Arafat as a living symbol of Islamic unity and brotherhood.“People of all colors and backgrounds from across the world have gathered here today,” he said, emphasizing that Islam transcends borders, languages, and ethnic differences, binding believers together as one Ummah.

The sermon highlighted that true honor and success lie in piety, sincerity, and unwavering belief in the Oneness of Allah (Tawheed). Sheikh Al-Huthaify urged Muslims to stay away from division, hatred, gossip, and falsehood, while strengthening patience, compassion, and unity among one another.From the heart of Hajj at Mount Arafat, the Imam reminded the Ummah that its real strength lies in standing together under one faith, one Qibla, and one message of peace and righteousness.Concluding the sermon with an emotional dua, Sheikh Al-Huthaify prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the Muslim world, acceptance of the pilgrims’ Hajj, and their safe return to their homes.The sacred atmosphere echoed with the voices of pilgrims proclaiming: “Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik.”
