Tehran (IN): Masoud Pezeshkian has underscored his administration’s firm commitment to fully implementing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty signed between Iran and Russia.During a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov and his accompanying delegation in Tehran on Wednesday, the president expressed satisfaction over the growing pace of bilateral engagements. He described the cooperation between the two nations as excellent and steadily expanding across multiple sectors.
Pezeshkian also referred to his recent discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that the meetings resulted in important and strategic decisions. According to him, these decisions not only safeguard the shared interests of both countries but also open new avenues for strengthening Tehran-Moscow relations.Highlighting the strategic partnership treaty signed in Moscow in January last year, the president stressed that Iran is determined to implement the agreement with strength, speed, and precision. He said the process is actively progressing in all agreed areas, including transportation, energy, oil and gas, agriculture and food products, as well as defense and security cooperation.The president further stated that he is personally monitoring the implementation of the agreement on a weekly basis and has assigned relevant ministers to expedite and oversee the fulfillment of joint commitments between the two sides.
