Islamabad: Renowned Pakistani tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi attended the Rising Tennis Star Festival 2026 as the chief guest at the Junior and Pre-Junior Section of The City School, Capital Campus Islamabad.The event was organised to promote sportsmanship and encourage healthy competition among young students. Addressing parents and participants, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi lauded the school’s efforts to introduce tennis at an early age and nurture emerging talent.
He also announced his support by offering to conduct lawn tennis coaching camps on campus for Under-10 and Under-12 students, adding significant value to the initiative.The programme also included an address by Abdullah Farooq, Director of Sports (NR), while Sabahat Khan Tatari, Regional Director (NR), graced the occasion with her presence.Featuring a mix of ceremonial segments, lively performances, and engaging sports activities, the festival highlighted the institution’s commitment to holistic development and excellence beyond academics.
