Islamabad (IN) Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Oumer H. Oba, held a productive meeting with Tajikistan’s Ambassador, H.E. Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad.During the meeting, both envoys reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and explored new avenues to strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
Key areas of focus included business, tourism, culture, energy, education, and regional connectivity.The two sides also discussed initiating formal bilateral political consultations aimed at establishing a structured framework to further enhance collaboration between the two countries.
Reaffirming their shared commitment, both ambassadors emphasized the importance of closer engagement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Tajikistan to deepen ties and promote mutual growth.The meeting reflects a growing intent by both nations to expand cooperation and build stronger diplomatic and economic partnerships.
