KOHAT (IN): The Kohat Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the federal government’s decision to restore 35 MMCFD gas supply to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, calling it a major relief for industries, businesses, the transport sector and the general public across the province.In a statement issued on Wednesday, Chamber President Rashid Pracha, former president Arshad Hayat, Faheemullah Khan and other office-bearers said the achievement was the result of continuous efforts and close coordination among provincial authorities, the federal government and relevant stakeholders.
The chamber also appreciated the role of Faisal Karim Kundi and Opposition Leader Dr. Ibad, praising their cooperation and support in the larger public interest despite political differences.Business leaders expressed hope that the restoration of gas supply would help revive industrial and commercial activities, provide much-needed relief to the CNG sector and ease difficulties faced by citizens throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
