ISLAMABAD, Apr 17 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a series of informal yet important meetings with global leaders on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye, reaffirming Pakistan’s active diplomatic role on regional and international fronts.
During his engagements, the prime minister met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, according to an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.On the margins of the forum, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also held separate meetings with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani.
The interactions took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, where the prime minister remained a key focus of engagement among participating leaders. Discussions focused on evolving regional and global developments, along with opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and security domains.
