ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm felicitations to the President and people of the Republic of Austria on the occasion of the country’s National Day, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.In a letter addressed to Austrian President Dr Alexander Van der Bellen, President Zardari conveyed his best wishes for his Austrian counterpart’s good health and happiness, as well as continued progress, prosperity and well-being for the Austrian people.
The President highlighted the longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and Austria, built on mutual respect, goodwill and a shared commitment to peace, stability and international cooperation.He noted that both countries maintain constructive engagement at bilateral and multilateral levels, reflecting their common desire to deepen friendly ties and promote mutually beneficial cooperation.President Zardari expressed confidence that the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Austria would continue to strengthen, creating new opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest and bringing the people of the two countries closer together.
