Rawalpindi: Polling for the Associate Class in the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) Executive Committee Elections 2026 has concluded, with the Mian Pervez Aslam Group securing a landslide victory on all 10 seats.According to the preliminary results announced by the three-member Election Commission, candidates of the Mian Pervez Aslam Group secured more than 90 percent of the votes, delivering a decisive victory in the Associate Class.
The group had already secured all 10 Corporate Class seats unopposed. With the latest results, the Mian Pervez Aslam Group has now secured all 20 seats of the RCCI Executive Committee, marking a clear and decisive victory in the chamber elections.The three-member Election Commission, comprising Malik Zahoor Ahmed, Tariq Mughal and Saqib Dawood, announced the preliminary results of the Associate Class.
According to the results, the successful candidates of the Mian Pervez Aslam Group were:Imran Sadiq – 1,600 votesNousherwan Khalil Khan – 1,593 votesRahim Ullah – 1,587 votesTariq Butt – 1,586 votesZaid Iqbal – 1,586 votesMuhammad Shahid – 1,585 votesShahraiz Ashraf Malik – 1,583 votesMuhammad Hamza Sarosh – 1,580 votesIkram-ur-Rehman Abbasi – 1,579 votesFaizan Rafiq – 1,573 votesCandidates from the opposing group secured comparatively fewer votes, including Malik Mehboob Elahi (262), Adnan Tahir (256), Mohsin Jahangir (252), Ahmed Waqas Ajmal (250), Ehsan Khalid (246), Zafar Iqbal (243), Qasim Kiani (234), Zeeshan Mahmood (221), and Muhammad Wajid (220).The election for the offices of President, Senior Vice President and Vice President of RCCI will be held on September 11, 2026.
