Islamabad (IN) Senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, paid rich tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her birth anniversary, acknowledging her unforgettable contributions to democracy, the Constitution, and human rights.He stated that Benazir Bhutto’s policy of patience, peace, and tolerance represents the true spirit of democracy. He added that by following her vision, the PPP continues its efforts to strengthen democratic values and institutions in the country.
Khursheed Shah emphasized that if democracy exists in Pakistan today and human rights are upheld, the credit goes to the unparalleled struggle and sacrifices of Benazir Bhutto. He reiterated that the PPP will continue its struggle alongside the people to fulfill her mission and work for democracy, peace, development, and prosperity.He further said that the long series of sacrifices made by the Bhutto family is deeply connected with democracy, the Constitution, and national progress. “I am proud that my leaders sacrificed their lives but never compromised on the Constitution, democracy, or the rights of the people,” he concluded.
