ISLAMABAD: Vice President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Dr. Ali Ercan, along with an accompanying delegation, held separate meetings with Muhammad Humair Karim, Secretary of Pakistan’s Economic Affairs Division (EAD), and Türkiye’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu, in Islamabad to discuss strengthening development cooperation and expanding bilateral collaboration.
During the meeting with the EAD Secretary, discussions focused on TİKA’s ongoing development initiatives in Pakistan and opportunities for future cooperation in line with the country’s development priorities. Dr. Ercan thanked the Economic Affairs Division for its coordination and support, while Muhammad Humair Karim appreciated TİKA’s contributions and reaffirmed the longstanding bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Türkiye.In his meeting with Ambassador Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu, Dr. Ercan discussed ways to further strengthen institutional partnerships and develop new projects that would benefit local communities, particularly women.
Both meetings underscored the importance of continued cooperation and joint development initiatives in further strengthening the close and friendly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.TİKA expressed gratitude to the ambassador for his warm welcome and continued support for the agency’s development activities in Pakistan.
