ISLAMABAD, July 27: The High Commission of the Republic of Maldives in Pakistan commemorated the 61st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Maldives by holding a flag hoisting ceremony on 26 July 2026.
The ceremony marked the nation’s independence and reflected the spirit of patriotism and national pride. On the occasion, the High Commission extended its heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to all Maldivians at home and abroad, celebrating this historic milestone.
Reaffirming the significance of Independence Day, the High Commission wished the people of the Maldives continued peace, unity, prosperity, and progress as the nation celebrates 61 years of independence.
