Independence day celebrate in Foundation University Islamabad

Islamabad (IN) Under the leadership of Rector Doctor Raza Ali Khan, faculty members, staff, and students came together to launch a dynamic calendar designed to foster community engagement, civic pride, and youth empowerment.The celebrations kicked off on August 9th with an interactive public arts initiative along the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus route, alongside a photography exhibition titled ‘Pakistan Through the Lens.’ The opening days also featured sports package distributions for local school children, poetry recitations, and a dedicated book discussion on ‘Jinnah of Pakistan.’Adding a heavy emphasis on social responsibility, early events included a major blood donation drive on August 11th, alongside cultural performances and theatrical productions that led directly up to today’s main event.

Today, on August 14th, the campus officially hosted its Flag Hoisting Ceremony at 8:00 AM, followed by a celebratory community brunch.Looking ahead, the momentum continues with a community tree plantation drive in Kotha Kalan on August 20th, followed by educational outreach visits to local schools.
