RAWALPINDI: Rawal Institute of Health Sciences (RIHS) hosted a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, attended by distinguished doctors, faculty and staff members, as well as MBBS and BDS students.The ceremony reflected a strong spirit of patriotism, with participants paying tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s forefathers and reaffirming their commitment to Pakistan’s progress, prosperity and development.Speaking on the occasion, Chairman RIHS Khaqan Waheed Khawaja thanked the distinguished guests, doctors, faculty, staff and students for their participation.
He said, “Pakistan is our country and our identity. Loving Pakistan is, in fact, loving ourselves. This homeland was achieved after countless sacrifices, and our youth are the future and most valuable asset of the country.”He expressed the resolve that everyone would work together with sincerity, dedication and commitment for Pakistan’s development, prosperity and a stronger future, while always upholding the honour and dignity of the national flag.Chairman RIHS urged everyone to renew their pledge to play their role in building a prosperous and progressive Pakistan.The ceremony concluded with prayers for the peace, security, prosperity and continued progress of Pakistan.
