H.E. Vice Admiral (Retd) Faisal Rasul Lodhi, High Commissioner of Pakistan to the Maldives, paid a courtesy call on Controller General of Immigration Ahmed Faseeh. Deputy Controller Ahmed Ashfan and officials from the Pakistan High Commission were also present.
During the meeting, both sides discussed measures to enhance bilateral coordination and strengthen capacity building in immigration services. It was agreed to plan and organize exchange visits of immigration officials from both countries to promote mutual learning.Issues related to facilitating smooth immigration processes for Pakistani nationals in the Maldives were also reviewed. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to close cooperation to further deepen ties between Pakistan and the Maldives
