Kazakhstan Envoy Visits LCCI, Calls for Strengthening Bilateral Trade Ties

Lahore: Ambassador of Kazakhstan, H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin, visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and held a meeting with LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol.Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, Vice President Khurram Lodhi, and members of the Executive Committee including Shouban Akhtar, Amir Ali, Firdous Nisar, Asif Khan, Karamat Ali Awan, Manzoor Hussain Jafri, and Mohsin Bashir were also present on the occasion.

Speaking during the meeting, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol emphasized the need for Pakistan and Kazakhstan to fully tap into their untapped trade potential. He stated that achieving the $1 billion bilateral trade target requires stronger business-to-business linkages and enhanced regional connectivity.

He further highlighted the importance of improving banking channels, facilitating direct flights, and expanding cooperation in key sectors such as energy, information technology, agriculture, petrochemicals, and tourism.Both sides reiterated their commitment to working closely towards building a long-term, sustainable economic partnership between the two countries.
