Antalya — Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.During the meeting, Attaf expressed Algeria’s full support for Saudi Arabia following recent attacks linked to rising tensions in the Gulf region.
He also referred to the stance of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who had earlier conveyed solidarity in a phone call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.Both ministers discussed recent developments in the region, including the ceasefire agreement, and voiced hope that it would lead to lasting peace and stability.
They also reviewed bilateral relations, highlighting growing economic cooperation and stressing the importance of further strengthening ties ahead of the first session of the Algerian-Saudi High Coordination Council.
