Dar, Turkish FM Fidan discuss regional situation, stress dialogue for peaceful solutions

ISLAMABAD, Apr 22 (IN): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday, during which both leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and emphasized the need for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve disputes peacefully.During the conversation, the two sides exchanged views on key regional developments and underscored the importance of maintaining constructive engagement to promote stability.

The Deputy Prime Minister also conveyed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Türkiye to the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation during the recent Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF). He further thanked the Turkish side for hosting the third meeting of the R-4 group on the sidelines of the forum, which brought together the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan, according to a news release issued by the DPM’s Office.
