The meeting of Academic Council of the University of Sargodha was held at the Committee Room, MPH chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas.
The meeting was attended by deans, directors, professors chairpersons of various faculties and departments. The agenda was presented by the Registrar The Council the nominated faculty members to the Advance Studies and Research Board (ASRB) and recommend academic reforms, including amendments to Graduate Semester Regulations and the internship framework,adoption of the Higher Education Commission Pakistan PSG 2023 Quality Framework, uniform offering of general education courses at the undergraduate level, and the introduction of a new course on Artificial Intelligence in line with HEC guidelines.
It further recommended the launch of joint degree programmes in collaboration with universities in the United Kingdom, aimed at strengthening international academic engagement and enhancing learning opportunities for students.
