ISLAMABAD, May 01 (IN): Parliamentary Secretary for National Heritage and Culture and MNA Farah Naz Akbar has said that Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq will be commemorated with traditional zeal and active participation of women, underscoring its national importance.
She expressed these views while addressing a dinner reception hosted in honour of young women lawyers, attended by a large number of members from the Islamabad Bar Women Wing.Farah Naz Akbar praised the emerging generation of women lawyers, calling them the “bright future of Pakistan’s legal fraternity,” and appreciated their dedication and growing role in strengthening the justice system.
She stated that her vision aligns with the leadership of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, reflecting a strong commitment to women’s empowerment.Highlighting government initiatives, she said concrete steps are being taken to enhance women’s access to education, employment, and equal opportunities, particularly in the legal field. “Providing a supportive environment for young lawyers to grow and excel remains a top priority,” she added.
She further noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have played a key role in promoting peace and stability in the country.Farah Naz Akbar said Pakistan is emerging as a strong advocate for peace, dialogue, and progress, crediting the sacrifices and professionalism of the armed forces.During the event, young women lawyers expressed confidence in the leadership and appreciated ongoing efforts aimed at empowering women across the country.
