Kigali: The Pakistani community in Rwanda (PKAR), under the leadership of Pakistan’s High Commissioner H.E. Naeem Khan, solemnly commemorated the 32nd Kwibuka — the remembrance of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda — on May 23, 2026.
During the ceremony, the Pakistan High Commission along with members of the Pakistani community laid a floral wreath to honor the memory of the victims and martyrs of the genocide.
The participants paid tribute to the lives lost and reaffirmed solidarity with the people of Rwanda in promoting peace, unity, and humanity.The event reflected the strong bond of friendship between Pakistan and Rwanda and highlighted the shared commitment to remembrance, reconciliation, and mutual respect.
