Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar Congratulates Nation on Youm-e-Takbeer, Pays Tribute to Pakistan’s Nuclear Achievement

Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire nation on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, stating that May 28, 1998, marks a historic and defining moment in Pakistan’s history when the country made its defence invincible through successful nuclear tests and demonstrated its strategic strength to the world.

He said that former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif made a courageous and historic decision to conduct the nuclear tests in the larger interest of national security, sovereignty, and defence, enabling Pakistan to emerge as the first nuclear power in the Muslim world.The Deputy Chairman Senate stated that Pakistan’s nuclear tests effectively neutralized India’s aggressive designs and established a strategic balance of power in the region. He added that Pakistan’s nuclear capability has deterred hostile forces from casting evil intentions toward the country.Syedal Khan Nasar remarked that Youm-e-Takbeer symbolizes national unity, sovereignty, strength, and unwavering resolve.

He said the nation pays tribute to its distinguished scientists, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, and the national leadership whose dedication, sacrifices, and visionary leadership made Pakistan a strong and impregnable defence power.He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s defence is in strong hands and that the entire nation stands united to foil every conspiracy and safeguard the country’s sovereignty and stability.
