Gujrawala Chamber President and District Administration Join Hands: MoU Signed for Establishment of Modern Incubation Center for Youth

The Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the district administration have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish an Incubation and Skill Development Center aimed at equipping young people with modern skills and entrepreneurial support.Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chamber President Ali Humayun Butt said the Primary Incubation Center was among the Chamber’s top priority projects. He noted that sustained efforts over the past several months helped turn the idea into a concrete initiative. Despite having 34 industrial clusters, Gujranwala lacked a dedicated platform for IT and advanced technical training, he added.The proposed center will offer IT and technical education, startup facilitation, and business mentoring to youth, while helping local industries access a trained workforce.

Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed praised the Chamber’s leadership, saying the project reflects a strong public-private partnership. He highlighted that a previously neglected building has been converted into a modern training facility to serve the city’s youth.Commissioner Gujranwala Syed Naveed Haider Shirazi said technological advancements have opened new global employment avenues, and the center will help connect local youth with national and international markets. He emphasized that the facility will be run on professional lines to ensure transparency and performance.Senior Vice President Saad Jameel Irfani, Vice President Faisal Sattar Mughal, former Senior Vice President Hamees Gulzar, executive members, and other representatives were also present at the ceremony.
