Mardan:On the occasion of International Mother Language Day Govt. High School Baghdada Mardan hosted a grand celebration . Students, Principal Ashraf Ali, and the entire teaching and non-teaching staff participated with great enthusiasm. Students showcased their love for their mother tongue, Pashto, through self-made placards.
The event featured various activities, including a thrilling Pashto proverb competition, and a poignant recitation of a poem by renowned poet Andesh Shams Qamar.Teachers, including Mr. Zeeshan, expressed their affection for Pashto through poetry. Principal Ashraf Ali highlighted the significance of mother languages in national development, sharing historical context and encouraging students to embrace their linguistic heritage. He invited students speaking other mother languages to share their love for their languages and suggested utilizing the school library’s Pashto resources to enhance their language skills.The event was skillfully managed by Mr. Fazli Malik, who filled the program with relevant quotes and poems.
