Irena Gancheva attended the inauguration of a community children’s library under the KITAB Project and a tree plantation drive organized by DICE Forum at Fatima Jinnah Park alongside Aqeel Malik as the Guest of Honor.
The event highlighted the importance of literacy, education, environmental protection, and sustainable development for Pakistan’s future. Participants emphasized the need to promote reading culture among children while encouraging collective efforts for a greener and healthier society.The programme also included a visit to Sundus Foundation’s Thalassemia Center, where the efforts being made for patient support, disease awareness, and prevention were acknowledged.Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Gancheva praised the DICE Forum for launching an inspiring initiative aimed at empowering young generations through education and community engagement.
She noted that books play a vital role in shaping minds, promoting critical thinking, and encouraging personal development.The ambassador further stressed that education, healthcare, and environmental care are interconnected responsibilities that can create long-term positive change and help build a brighter and more sustainable future for Pakistan.
