QUETTA (IN): Deputy Chairman Senate Sardar Syedal Khan Nasir has said that serving the public remains the foremost priority and that everyone must rise above personal interests to unite people and play a practical role in resolving their problems.He expressed these views while addressing an introductory meeting with his newly appointed coordinators in Quetta, where responsibilities were also assigned.
Among those present on the occasion were Jahangir Kharoti, Mir Zaman Lehri, Ambrose John, Sameera Khan, Amjad Aziz Bhatti, Maryam Liaquat, Raj Kumar, and Liaquat Iqbal Rajput.Syedal Khan Nasir said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz, has always pursued politics centered on public service and development. He added that this commitment is the reason why people continue to place their trust in the party.He noted that there are numerous opportunities to serve the public and emphasized the need to work wholeheartedly for the welfare of underprivileged and vulnerable segments of society, regardless of race, ethnicity, or political affiliation.
Urging the coordinators to fulfill their responsibilities effectively, he said they must maintain close contact with the public in their respective areas and play an active role in ensuring that people’s issues are addressed on a priority basis.The Deputy Chairman Senate further stated that welfare initiatives would be strengthened, including the provision of laptops to support youth education and development, sewing machines to empower women, assistance for medical treatment of deserving individuals, and wheelchairs for persons with disabilities.He emphasized that their mission extends beyond political activities and focuses on improving people’s lives through public and social service. He called upon all coordinators to carry out their duties with honesty, dedication, and hard work so that maximum relief and facilities can be provided to the public.Syedal Khan Nasir said that, in the first phase, efforts would be focused on resolving public issues in Quetta, after which practical measures would be taken to address problems in other districts across the province.
