Filipino Community in Lahore Marks 128th Philippine Independence Day with Cultural Festivities

LAHORE (IN) — The Filipino community in Lahore celebrated the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence with great enthusiasm at the Ramada Hotel, Gulberg II, in an event organized by Kabalikat ng Kapwa Pilipino (KKP) with the support of the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Lahore.

The commemorative gathering was graced by H.E. Ambassador Emmanuel R. Fernandez as the chief guest and brought together members of the Filipino community, Pakistani friends, and local community leaders in a vibrant display of unity, patriotism, and cultural pride.The event featured lively cultural performances, including traditional songs and dances presented by various Filipino community groups. The performances highlighted the rich cultural heritage, artistic talent, and deep sense of national pride among Filipinos living in Lahore.
