Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended warm greetings to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan on the country’s Independence Day.
In his message to President Zardari, Lukashenko said the occasion symbolizes the sovereignty, resilience and unity of the Pakistani nation, while appreciating Pakistan’s progress in state-building, economic modernization and strengthening its position internationally.In a separate message to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Belarusian president praised Pakistan’s commitment to the peaceful resolution of global and regional challenges and appreciated the prime minister’s constructive role in addressing the difficult situation in the Middle East.
Lukashenko emphasized that further strengthening Belarus-Pakistan cooperation in trade, industry, agriculture and other sectors serves the strategic interests of both countries.He also expressed confidence in the effective implementation of agreements reached during the leaders’ meetings in 2024 and 2025, reaffirming Belarus’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties with Pakistan.
