ISLAMABAD (Staff Reporter): Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party has announced the establishment of its Ulema and Mashaikh Wing, named the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party Ulema and Mashaikh Supreme Council, as part of efforts to expand the party’s organizational structure and strengthen its connection with religious scholars and community leaders.The announcement was made by Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party Chairman and Chairman of Rawal General & Dental Hospital and Rawal Foundation, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, following a meeting with a high-level delegation.
The newly formed Ulema and Mashaikh Supreme Council includes Dr. Mufti Mir Ishtiaq Ahmed Advocate, Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman Madani, Syed Amjad Shah Bukhari, and Amjad Islam Amjad.During the meeting, Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja also met with several political and social figures, including Tahir Khan, Zafar Khan, Asghar Khan, Ehsanullah Khan, Amanullah Khan, Azeem Khan, Ishrat Khursheed, Amjad Hussain Alvi, Syed Anjum Shah, and others.Addressing the members of the Ulema and Mashaikh Supreme Council and other delegations, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja said that the party was working to strengthen all its wings, and people were joining the movement after being inspired by its manifesto, vision, and performance.
He said the establishment of the Ulema and Mashaikh Wing would help connect the party with religious scholars across Pakistan. He added that the party was not only gaining public support but was also receiving encouragement to continue its efforts for public service.Khaqan Waheed Khawaja emphasized the importance of unity among all schools of thought, saying that all communities should work together to promote harmony and avoid sectarian divisions.
He said Pakistan was founded on the basis of the Islamic ideology and the party believed in following the teachings of Allah Almighty and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).Members of the Ulema and Mashaikh Supreme Council expressed their confidence in the party’s manifesto, vision, and performance, saying they would work nationwide with dedication and in accordance with Islamic teachings to further the party’s mission.
