Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to promote global peace, despite increasingly complex international security challenges.In a message issued in Islamabad on the occasion of the International Day of Peace through Multilateralism and Diplomacy, the prime minister stressed that Pakistan remains actively engaged in fostering dialogue and diplomatic efforts to support regional and global stability.
He highlighted that, at a time of evolving global threats, Pakistan continues to prioritise negotiations, cooperation, and peaceful conflict resolution in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter.Sharif noted that the country’s ongoing mediation efforts in the region are guided by these values, underscoring Pakistan’s intention to play a constructive role in resolving disputes and promoting harmony.He added that Pakistan will continue to work through international cooperation frameworks to strengthen peace initiatives and uphold its longstanding commitment to diplomacy.
