Islamabad (Sports Reporter) President World Boxing League Pakistan Syed Noman Shah congratulated Spain on becoming World Football Champion after 16 years. The Spanish team made itself the co-champion by presenting an excellent game against the defending champion Argentina in the World Cup final, for which the captain, players and team management deserve congratulations. Syed Noman Shah said that the winning team and the Spanish nation did not forget the oppressed Palestinians in the joy of victory.
This is the victory of right, truth and humanity. Syed Noman Shah appealed to the federal and provincial governments to increase sports funds to popularize boxing and football and other sports and to sponsor sports activities at the district, sub-district and tehsil levels.
