Istanbul: In continuation of engagements at the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, held a significant meeting with Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Ms. Valentina Matviyenko.
During the meeting, Ms. Matviyenko commended Pakistan’s constructive role on the global stage, particularly its diplomatic efforts to promote peace and facilitate dialogue in conflict situations. She praised Pakistan’s consistent commitment to resolving disputes through peaceful and diplomatic means.Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to further strengthen bilateral parliamentary relations with the Russian Federation.
He emphasized the importance of enhanced parliamentary cooperation in advancing global peace, stability, and mutual understanding.Both sides expressed satisfaction over the current level of engagement and agreed to expand parliamentary exchanges and cooperation in the future.
