ISLAMABAD, August 14, 2026: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) hosted a vibrant “Azadi Musical Show — Independence Day Special” at the PNCA Auditorium, Islamabad, to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with music, national spirit and patriotic enthusiasm.The event was attended by Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary for National Heritage & Culture, as the Special Guest, along with distinguished guests, artists, performers, media representatives and a large number of citizens.
The musical evening attracted a huge and enthusiastic crowd, with people from different walks of life gathering to celebrate Independence Day. The auditorium resonated with patriotic songs and energetic performances, creating an atmosphere of unity, joy and love for Pakistan.Renowned performers including Manwa Sisters, Jwand Parasta Band, Gulshan Jahan and Mash Baloch enthralled the audience with their live performances and received warm appreciation and enthusiastic applause.
The programme provided families, youth and music lovers an opportunity to celebrate the national day together while highlighting the values of freedom, unity, peace and national pride.The successful event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Samiullah Baloch, Director Performing Arts, PNCA, and Inayat Ur Rahman, Deputy Director (Performing Arts), PNCA, along with the entire PNCA team.As part of the celebrations, the Special Guest, distinguished guests, artists and PNCA officials jointly cut an Independence Day cake, adding a memorable moment of unity and national pride to the evening.
