MARDAN: Dr. Zahid Kamal, CEO Safety of Smart Training & Consultancy Services (STCS), Peshawar, has stated that the institution is actively working to provide educated unemployed youth with world-class technical, vocational, and safety training, enabling them to access employment opportunities both in Pakistan and abroad.He said that under the institution’s Vision 2030, STCS has set a target of helping 100,000 young people secure better employment opportunities.
So far, more than 32,000 youth have successfully completed various safety and technical courses and are currently serving in Europe, the Middle East, the Gulf countries, and other international markets.Dr. Zahid Kamal emphasized that in today’s rapidly evolving world, a degree alone is no longer enough to guarantee success. Practical skills, digital competencies, internationally recognized safety certifications, and knowledge of modern technologies are essential for building a successful career.
He urged the government, the private sector, and educational institutions to adopt a coordinated strategy for promoting technical and vocational education, enhancing the professional skills of young people, reducing unemployment, and strengthening Pakistan’s national economy.
